About Black Love Documentary

An independent production company led by director and producer Zoë Poindexter.

Films rooted in Black life and community memory.

Black Love Documentary makes films about how people care for one another, carry history, and build a future together. We work through close listening and clear storytelling.

Our current films are A Revolution Called Love and Defining Love: Voices of Black D.C. Both projects are being made with Black communities at the center.
